Black Continuum begins with the language of portraiture, mineral matter, and classical ideals of the human body.

Constructed with expanding foam, soft clay, and moulding paste, its black surface evokes skin, geological layers, and an excavated relic. Black crystals appear as preserved traces of energy and time, while images of David are covered, fragmented, and reconfigured.

A meditation on how form is shaped by time. It appears at once as a body still in formation and as a dark relic rising from beneath the earth—persisting between fragmentation and wholeness, vulnerability and strength, the visible and the unseen.
