Vase and Flowers vi
The petals did not bloom from joy — they unfolded from ache, each stroke carrying the weight of a body that trembles, a mind that drifts between shadow and light.
A quiet purple whispered of wounds unseen, while pale fragments of blue held together what little calm I could gather. I painted survival. In the stillness between breaths, I found a fragile courage to create, even when my hands felt heavy with sorrow. And somehow, within that fractured flower, there was life.
Not perfect, not whole — but stubborn,
softly radiant, still becoming.
